I don't care for bands that try to sound like the Grateful Dead which is what makes Max Creek and Scott Murawski unique....they/he plays GD with their/his own style a lot like Garcia playing Dylan...if you really think about it to some extent the Grateful Dead were a cover band themselves and in no way do I say that with any negativity... Max Creek is as original a band as you will ever hear because they create a sound completely unique...Scott is truly amazing,check out some of the Max Creek ......

this is the 1st show that I ever downloaded..haven't listened to it in quite some time ...this show rocks from start to finish (trouble accessing the show to provide a link, not sure if its my device or an issue at the archive but none the less this show is worth a mention. great sound and a decent mix. ........oh yeah don't waste your time trying to PRETEND that Tommy Iommi is playing lead cause I tried and I don't believe its posible....and I have been told I got a great imagination....tho 3......

I saw him last year with emmylou harris and though it was a little more emmylou than I would have liked it was still phenomenal....knopfler was out standing....as for dire straits I saw them on the brothers in arms tour 2nd row at the wang center...that was a top 5 concert for me...I would love to see knopfler with phil and bobby and billy and mickey....
